The investors are ready to provide the financial supported needed to launch a business concept.
How well you present yourself, your business idea and how compelling your pitch to the investors is, will determine if you are successful.
There are no guarantees. We hope that at least 1 and as many as 3 entrepreneurs garner the financial support they need to make their dream a reality.
Once you are a successful candidate, you will be required to submit your business plan and provide personal and business background for credit diligence, fraud and criminal background checks. These are mandatory and the program cannot be advanced until these are satisfactorily completed.
In addition, negotiation between the investor and the entrepreneur will engage at this stage of the process, with entrepreneurs and investors discussing how the project will move forward and ironing out any individual preferences.
Entrepreneurs will be required to engage in monthly conference calls with
an Advisory Panel, to review progress, provide accountability, discuss next
steps and work through strategic planning. The intended scope of this project
will be January to September 2008, with the candidate who generates the
best buzz and improvement on their business concept over that 9 month period
launching next year’s event!
